If you're looking for a badass and fun band with catchy indie pop jams, you've gotta check out THRILLCHASER. Their bassist and synth player, Rob Lundy, called into the studio to tell us about their debut album and their latest single, QUIT IT!
Their debut album "A Lot Like Love" was released on Feb. 16, 2018; receiving airplay on more than 120 stations across America & Canada (Peaking at #122 on the NACC-200). A follow-up single titled "QUIT IT!" was released on Aug. 31, 2018.
The single is separate from their debut album, as the band breaks from the "one album every two years" mentality. Rob describes their latest single as a unique and quirky song that's fun to play live. Listen to the song below!
Rob started playing bass when he was just 10 years old, inspired by pop punk music like Blink-182 and New Found Glory. He also plays keys in the band and will switch between bass and keys throughout a set. THRILLCHASER was formerly known as "American Wolves," but evolved to make a new sound and music that was more true to them. Rob expressed that although they were proud of the material, the band felt that they were stuck in a hard rock and metal box and were ready to move past the image.
THRILLCHASER will be playing at Arlene's Grocery on Friday, October 5 at 7:00pm. For more information, go to THRILLCHSR.com and follow them on social media @THRILLCHSR.
